Whenever I go home, I get the biggest greeting from my dog out of anyone in my family.  Maybe it’s kind of self-centered thing, but dogs seem like one of the only pets that really love you back.  It’s nice that cats don’t need constant attention, but for me, the point of having a pet is to have a non-human companion…and cats don’t respond very well to companionship most of the time.  Not to hate on cats.  But dogs are just way better (sorry Tyger Lilly!)
